|1||Student and parents read the International Policies and Guidelines document (please note this is currently under review as at February 2018) before downloading, completing and sending the International Student Application and Tuition Agreement form, as well as the International Student Profile, to Thames High School by email.|
|2||Thames High School reviews the application, and sends a Conditional Offer of Place and invoice. If Thames High School declines the application, the student will be advised by letter.|
|3||After carefully reading all the information provided by Thames High School, as well as the Education (Pastoral Care of International Students) Code of Practice 2016 , the student and parents send the invoiced fees to Thames High School. The student will receive their own copy of the Tuition Agreement during Orientation.|
|4||Thames High School sends a Confirmed Offer of Place to the student, which is also their receipt.|
|5||The student applies for a student visa, and then advises Thames High School of the details of the flight he/she will arrive on.
Visas for international students who wish to study in New Zealand can now be applied for online via Immigration ONLINE-Student, Immigration New Zealand’s new technology platform.
|6||A member of the International Department of Thames High School or a person designated by the school, will meet the student at the airport, and take the student to his/her home-stay.|
