We couldn’t be prouder of our incredible students who absolutely dominated at the EPro8 Inter-School science and engineering competition in Hamilton!
Out of roughly 35,000 students competing nationwide, our teams showed everyone exactly what Thames High School is capable of.
Huge congratulations to our teams for these massive results:
-
🥇 1st Place: Junior Team A
-
🥈 2nd Place: Junior Team B
-
🏅 4th Place: Senior Team
Because of these amazing results, all three teams secured their spots in the semi-finals!
A massive shoutout to our digital technology teacher, Jesse Watson, for coaching the students over the last term and a half, and to Year 10 student Alex Atrill for leading the charge on those quick math challenges! From building solar panels that track the light to mastering complex electronics, your teamwork, tinkering, and problem-solving skills are next level.
The seniors compete in their semi-finals today, and our juniors hit the floor tomorrow. Let’s wish them all the best of luck as they push for a spot in the grand finals!
