Te Kura Tuarua o Te Kauaeranga/Thames High School invites applications for Head of Health & Physical Education.
This position is a great opportunity to strengthen your curriculum leadership as you will lead a team of 3 to 4 teachers in a medium-sized school.
We are seeking an inspiring, collaborative student-focused leader with an awareness of current culturally responsive education practice, who enjoys fostering positive relationships and develops staff and taiohi/young people to reach their true potential. We have a very supportive staff and working environment. Please state other teaching subjects.
The ability to teach up to NCEA Level 3 Health, and Physical Education and/or Outdoor Education is encouraged and an advantage.
Co-curricular involvement is encouraged and an advantage.

Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV)
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will depend on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
