We’re rebranding the Cross-Country to “The THS Amazing Race”.
It will be on Thursday 16 May. Competitive runners go through first followed by non-competitive participants who can complete challenges at the stations where teachers are based along the way.
Some challenges will be quite challenging e.g.(Laser strings where you have to go through the strings without touching them) while others as simple as running through 6-8 tyres on the ground.
We will also be encouraging non-competitive students to go crazy with house colours.
Non-competitive runners take a stamp card to get signed off at each challenge station, once you complete the challenge. Once you fill your 10 stamp card and finish the Amazing Race, name your card and place it in the box at the finish line to be in with a chance to win prizes.
House points will be up for grabs for all runners and for completing the challenges.
Remember to bring a towel (you never know what the challenges may include) and uniform to get changed into for period 2 and 3.
