On Saturday, 20 June, the Thames Civic Centre was transformed into a dazzling spectacle for the annual Thames High School Ball. Centred around the theme “See the Lights,” the evening was a magnificent celebration filled with laughter, music, and unforgettable memories.
Arriving in Style
The festivities kicked off outside the Civic Centre with the beloved Thames High tradition of watching the students arrive. Spectators were treated to a wonderful display of creativity and flair as students pulled up in an array of unique rides—ranging from classic vintage cars and tractors to an extraordinary arrival in a fire engine!
A Magical Evening
Inside, the venue looked incredible. Between the vibrant light display, music, and exquisite decorations, the atmosphere was electric from the moment guests stepped through the doors.
“The school ball was a memorable night that I had been looking forward to for a long time. Getting ready with my friends was one of my favourite parts of the evening… When we arrived at the venue, it looked amazing with all the decorations, lights, and music creating a great atmosphere. Throughout the night, I spent time talking, laughing, and taking photos with my friends… Looking back, the ball was more than just a formal event—it was an opportunity to celebrate, make lasting memories, and enjoy one final special occasion with friends.”
