We made our way to Matamata in March to represent Thames high School in the pairs lawn bowls. We had a second placing in the female section and a third in the males section. Well done to all of you! Also a photo of all the students who competed.
Gateway students have been involved in the ‘Students coaching students’ programme in conjunction with Thames Valley Rugby and Waikato Institute for Leisure and Sport. Special thanks to Bill Cooksley.
Thames High School were lucky enough to have 2 members of the Black Sticks come in and take a lesson of hockey skills, questions & answers and show the students there trophy. An awesome opportunity had by our hockey players.
