Congratulations to all the recipients of the sports awards. Also, I would like to congratulate all student who that have participated in any of the sporting opportunities offered this year. Please remember you are all part of the team that have been alongside the award winners.
I would also like to congratulate our Head of Sport and Head of House Senior Leaders; Xavier, Ella, Alana and Millar – You have done a great job this year along with your house leaders. Tess, our Sport Co-ordinator, every student who came to see you about signing up has become your number 1 priority to make sure they get to participate. You have gone above and beyond for our students. Thank you.
Thank you to Thames Community and Whanau who became coaches, managers, referees, officials, organizers, drivers, water bottle carriers, first aiders, photographers, uniform washers and sideline supporters.
My challenge to you all – in 2023 say ‘yes’ to joining up to an event or team offered. You will gain far more skills than just the game.
