On Wednesday the 7th August the Thames Valley Secondary Schools Boys Football Tournament was held at Katikati College.
Our boys team started well with big wins against the Katikati 2nd XI and Hauraki Plains College 1st XI. This resulted in the last game of the day being the playoff off for the trophy and a rematch of last years final, between Thames and Katikati 1st XI’s.
Kaisei scored first for us, which resulted in an intensive attack from the Katikati team and the score being equaled. The end of the the game was drawing close when a long kick down field linked with Kaisei and he scored again.
Final scored 2 -1 to Thames. Congratulations Team.
