Outdoor Ed met Art and Design in hills behind Thames for a special photography project to promote mountain bike trails.
Miss Ferguson’s students had their cameras at the ready to snap Mr Sitnikoff’s cyclists as they put their mountain bikes through their paces.
They were on the Scarface Mountain Bike Tracks, up Moanataiari Creek Road.
The photographs will appear in the Thames-Coromandel District Council’s Summertimes magazine as part of an article about mountain biking trails in the Coromandel.
