Covid-19 Update – 17 August

17 August 2021

Kia ora e te whānau

I hope you are as ready as can be with the announcement of COVID ALERT LEVEL 4 for what is likely to be 7 days (Auckland and Coromandel Peninsula).

The first priority is your and your family’s / whānau wellbeing.
Our shared priority is the wellbeing of our friends, colleagues and taiohi and their whānau, and everyone in our community and country.

We will share information from the Ministry of Education as it comes to us, regarding expectations of continuation of learning.
The suddenness of this announcement will naturally cause anxiety, and I do trust you are reassured and can reassure your children that we have been through this before and will be okay.

We all need time to process what this means, so we will be in touch as soon as we know more, and what our next steps are.
Remember at level 4 ALL schools are closed and any group activities are cancelled. No one is allowed onto the school site during this time. Communications will be via our electronic media, especially email.

I trust that you are safe and well and remain safe and well.

I am sure we will all get through this together by taking care of each other.
