A group of 11 students from Misaki in Japan visited Thames High School in August, joining classes including PE, Food, Drama and Maori. The students and their teachers also visited a local goldmine, and Thames South School, as well as going rock-climbing and doing a bit of shopping in Hamilton.

The 2015 high school rugby season has come to an end, with Thames High teams doing well in their respective divisions. The Thames Valley Secondary School Rugby Finals were held at Paeroa Domain.
