Thames High School’s musicians did us proud at the recent Waikato Secondary Schools’ Music Competitions. Jazz 12 piece ‘Pro Musica’ won a silver medal, and ‘Guitara 2015’ – our performance guitar group took bronze. The competition was held in Hamilton at the University of Waikato Performing Arts Centre. Thames High is one of just 15 schools from across the country selected to help the National Library rethink how it works with schools. Principal Dave Sim, Librarian Ruth Howes and teacher Jennifer Glenn have been in Wellington to take part in the consultation. Mr Sim said the National
