The school drama room was full to capacity as Thames High School’s arts students presented their work to friends and whanau.
The show was called ‘CollaborARTe’ and involved the entire department, which includes the Art, Photography, Drama, Visual Design and Music classes.
Head of Drama Krissy Walton said it was an opportunity to see a snapshot of what students have been working on in class, and it was fabulous to see so many family members supporting their children.
She said the event was unrehearsed, and considering how many students were involved, it was pretty slick.
The last Arts Evening was in 2007, and so staff felt this was a long time coming, she said.
