On Wednesday 9 August, Thames High School became a Career hub with 40 Providers offering information on careers, courses and much more at the annual Coromandel Careers Roadshow. Students were able to test their athletic skills, talk to the Defence Forces, try barista coffee, sample bee products, learn about tertiary education and much more.
Students also had a chance to visit the TCDC Business and Volunteers expo held at the Civic Centre, to see where they could potentially volunteer and assist in local organisations which showcased on the day.
Thames High School students are already representing volunteer organisations in the Thames community.
