As a Kāhui Ako, we are developing ways that we can strengthen connections between school and iwi as well as grow teachers, leaders and our learners. To begin 2020, we all came together to learn about our local history and strengthen our understanding of the kawa of Mātai Whetū and its historical importance to this area.
All teaching staff including leaders from Thames High School, Thames South, Moanataiari, Pārāwai, Matatoki, Puriri, Tapu, Te Puru and St Francis meet on the 30th January 2020.
