During the course of the year our senior Mechanical Engineering students will be designing & building their own electric vehicle and at the end of the year they will enter it into a range of fun competitions. Winners from each regional event are then able to go on to the national event.
Recently our students attended an introduction day to the EVolocity programme for 2022. They learnt about the programme, meet some of their competition, and were given an overview of the rules and regulations of the competition. It was great chance to meet some experts and mentors to assist us with our electric vehicle.
This is an exciting opportunity and the first time Thames High has participated in this event.
